Svenner Lighthouse

There are a few places I'll always want to return to. Svenner is one of them. Situated near Vestfold coast, it is a kind of "pearl of Norwegian islands". The history of Svenner lighthouse goes back to year 1794 when the first lighthouse was built there. People taking care of Svenner were living on the island and their children even had a teacher coming over to give lessons. Today, Svenner Lighthouse is fully automatic but it still keeps its romantic atmosphere and you can even stay over in one of the old buildings.
